Write invoices, not an accounting thesis

Whether you use the German small-business VAT exemption or charge VAT: Accountix issues the invoice correctly, watches your payments and nudges late payers — while you do the actual work.

§ 19 UStG — automatically correct

Registered under the German small-business scheme? Mark it once in your master data. From then on every invoice is issued without VAT and carries the legally required § 19 note — on every single document, without you thinking about it.

Crossed the revenue threshold? Untick the box and invoices carry VAT from that moment. Your old invoices remain untouched and correct.

Free-form entry instead of forced forms

Not every service fits "quantity × unit price". In free-entry mode an invoice is a line and an amount — nothing more. For recurring work, save invoice presets, even based on your own Word template, so every invoice looks like you.

Know who has paid — without checking online banking by hand

Your business account connects via FinTS: incoming payments are matched to open invoices automatically. If an invoice sits unpaid, the dunning system sends first a friendly reminder and then — only if you want — formal demand letters with correct deadlines.

Supplier invoices? Forward them to your personal receipts inbox — Accountix reads them and files them in your payables.

Frequently asked questions

I use Word and Excel today. Is switching worth it?

Import your existing invoices via drag and drop — even three years retroactively, in minutes. After that, numbering, payment status and reports live in one place instead of three files.

What happens when I outgrow the small-business scheme?

Since 2025 the thresholds are 25,000 euros (previous year) and 100,000 euros (current year). In Accountix you switch VAT on in your master data; new invoices carry VAT from then on. For the tax specifics, talk to your advisor.

Do I have to issue e-invoices as a small business?

You must be able to receive them already — an email inbox suffices. For issuing, transition periods apply, and Accountix generates an EN 16931-compliant Factur-X invoice at the click of a button whenever a customer requires one.
